Thomas Dux tasting.

Carmel hosted another tasting this week, this time it was Thomas Dux in The Glen shopping centre in Glen Waverley, and she cooked up a treat.  The tasteables she presented included cherry tomatoes BBQ'd with Henry Langdon Smoked Paprika and Basil Sea Salt Rub, beef bites with Henry Langdon Roasted Spice Sea Salt Rub, button mushrooms with Henry Langdon Chilli and Garlic Sea Salt Rub as well as diced potatoes char grilled with the Henry Langdon Rosemary Sea Salt Rub. These were complimented with freshly brewed tissanes and herbal teas.

Once again, the staff at Thomas Dux were fantastic with their knowledge and enthusiasm for the Henry Langdon range and the customers were pleased to be able to get gourmet recipes to use with their purchases.

What a display!

These photos were taken at Yering Station in Yarra Glen by a very happy customer.  They were so impressed with the display, they took the photos and forwarded via email.   This section of the display at Yering Station was of the herbal teas, green and black teas as well as a selection of the cocoa blends and the chai latte, but you will find the full range of gourmet spices and sea salt rubs instore.

****New product release****

Henry Langdon is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their Organic Rapadura Sugar.  Rapadura Sugar is produced in Brazil and is a beautifully unrefined sugar, retaining its full bodied natural flavour.  Rapadura Sugar is golden brown in colour and the granules are a little finer than "raw sugar", making it perfect for use in baking as it creams beautifully and dissolves easily.  The flavour is rich and will enhance anything you add it to, whether that be your morning cereal, a cup of coffee or as a topping on that creme brulee you keep meaning to make.

Rapadura is created by evaporating the pure sugar cane juice over a low heat while being constantly stirred.  It is then sieve ground to produce a grainy sugar.   It has not been high heated and spun to create the sugar crystals, and it is never separated from the natural molasses.  It is organically produced and free of chemical additives and anti caking agents.

Tasting at Wyndham Cache.

1 K Avenue, Werribee South

We did this tasting the week before Easter, and it was so busy.  The primary product at Wyndham Cache is fresh eggs, and the customers were coming in by the dozen to get fresh eggs for Easter Sunday..which  was great for us as so many people had the opportunity to try the Henry Langdon range of spices.                                                     It was great to spend time with Julie, her staff and her customers.  The tasting was very well received, and many of the customers seemed surprised to see so little effort produce such a tasty dish.  The most popular flavour on the day was the cherry tomatoes, BBQ'd using the Henry Langdon Smoked Paprika and Basil Sea Salt Rub.

Tasting at Sciclunas Mentone.

2-4 Como Parade, Mentone

Jocelyn and Vicki hosted a hugely successful cooking demonstration and tasting at Sciclunas Mentone.  Sciclunas where holding a market day and invited Henry Langdon along to join in the promotion.  It was a very busy day, with hundreds of people through the doors on the day.  Included in the demonstration were cherry tomatoes cooked with the Smoked Paprika and Basil Sea Salt Rub, King prawns BBQ'd using the Coriander Chilli & Kaffir Lime Sea Salt Rub as well as potato with Rosemary Sea Salt Rub and pumpkin cubes with the Roasted Spice Sea Salt Rub.  All of this was cooked on an electric BBQ, demonstrating the versatility of the spice rubs and the ease with which they can be used.
